School closings and delays will be announced over radio station and TV stations.
In case of an emergency closing during the school day, it is important that the school has an emergency procedure form on file.
Your child will be dismissed according to those plans unless the school is notified differently.
Hot lunch, bologna sandwiches and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are available everyday. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday pizza is available. Hot dogs are available on Tuesday and Thursday.

- Students are expected to be in their classrooms by 8:20 a.m.
- If a student is late, he/she needs to report to the office and must be signed in by a parent.
- Walker dismissal is at 2:50.
- If a student is to be picked up before that time, he/she should give a note to the teacher in the a.m. Parents should come into the office to sign out the student.
- Tardies and Early Dismissals will affect Perfect Attendance.
Attendance
If your child is late or absent, he/she need to bring a note of excuse upon returning to school.
On the day that your child returns to school, he/she needs to bring a note of excuse.
Security

All outside doors to our school, except for the front entrance near the flagpole will be locked at 8:30 each day. The front entrance will be the only entry to the school during the school day. Parents and visitors should stop in the office to sign in before going to the classrooms.

All parents picking up students for appointments or early dismissal must report to the office.
- All school doors will be unlocked at 2:30 each day.
Parking
- Parents and visitors are asked to pick up and drop off their children at the curb around the school.
- Visitor traffic is NOT allowed in the back parking lot to assure the safety of the students.
- Please do not enter the driveway.
