The Lincoln PTO has had a busy 2010 so far...we just finished up our annual lasagna dinner at the Ogdensburg Elk's Lodge and it was a huge success. The Elk's members & parents that helped out and made the night run smoothly, we always appreciate volunteers.  The kids had a penny drive to raise money for the student activities fund and did such a great job that the whole school was rewarded with a pizza party. Mrs. Caruso's class raised the most money and they were also treated with ice cream.  The kids had an awesome time at the Valentine's Day dance, special thanks to our favorite DJ's, Don Whitman & Jason Langstaff for volunteering their services to us.  We made up easter baskets to give away to one lucky boy & girl, everyone had a chance to win, this years winners were Desiree Hollenbeck & Carson LaRose.  Last week we decided to surprise the kids with a show from Cubby T. Clown & Co. and then the kids were able to go back to their classrooms to find easter eggs.  May will be a very busy month, we will be having our spring bookfair fom May 3 - 12 and can use all the volunteers we can get so that the bookfair will be able to open everyday, remember the bookfair is only open if we have volunteers to work it.  We are looking forward to our end of the year party again this year, this is when all of our hard work fundraising is really rewarded with inflatables and a special gift from the PTO for each child for working so hard throughout the year!!
