Area Schools Face Off In Court
Mock Trial Contests Begins Today

OFA MOCK TRIAL TEAM - The Ogdensburg Free Academy Mock Trial team has concluded tournament play. The tournament, now in its 25th year, is sponsored by the New York State Bar Association's Committee of Citizenship Education, the New York Bar Foundation and the New York State Education Department. The Mock Trial tournament allows students to learn about the law, the legal system and court procedures; increase their listening, speaking, reading and reasoning skills; learn appropriate courtroom decorum; and help them think on their feet. Pictured is OFA's 2008 squad. Semi-finals will be held on March 31.
